SHOEGAZE CON EL TOQUE FEMENINO. Según LastFM, A Sunny Day in Glasgow suena como My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive y Cocteau Twins... Debo confesar que estoy de acuerdo. Estos dos discos están cargados de atmósferas psicodélicas, con voces femeninas imposibles de describir. Cuando los escucho no sé si estoy en Santiago o en algún lugar de mi mente.

ORGASMO MUSICAL Nº 14: VIVA LA VIDA! COLDPLAY - 2008

Cuando leí que este disco lo produjo Brian Eno, no me podía imaginar como sonaría eso. Un trabajo de Eno realmente no tiene nada que ver con el Parachutes de Coldplay, hay una madurez musical por parte de la banda. El resultado es sorprendente, y por supuesto que se nota la mano del productor.

Dato freak: El título "Viva la vida" corresponde a un cuadro de la artista Mexicana Frida Khalo, pero la foto corresponde a la obra "La libertad guiando al pueblo" de Eugène Delacroix, una de las pinturas más representativas de la Revolución Francesa.
